EPIC Mum’s Night Out – A Night to Remember!
What a fantastic Mother’s Day celebration we had at the EPIC Mum’s Night Out Night Market! The Te Puke Memorial Hall was buzzing with excitement as families came together to celebrate the incredible mums in our community.
With a diverse range of stalls offering perfect gift ideas, there was something for every mum – from handmade treasures to unique treats. It was wonderful to see so many people finding that special something to make their Mother’s Day truly memorable.
But the fun didn’t stop at shopping! Our lineup of interactive games was a huge hit, bringing out the playful side of mums and kids alike:
Kidz Do Mum’s ’Do! – A hilarious showcase of creative (and occasionally wild!) hairstyling by the youngest family members.
Tree Pose Showdown – Special thanks to Bekki Monger from Body Mind Studio for leading this fun, yoga-inspired contest – we had some impressive balance on display!
Handbag Bingo Bonanza – An absolute crowd-pleaser as mums dug deep to find those unexpected handbag treasures.
Mum Makeover Magic – Kids unleashed their inner makeup artists, creating some truly unique (and sometimes hilariously glamorous) looks. Not even the dads were safe with a few unsuspecting victims receiving glow-ups!
Family Dance Floor Frenzy – Mums and kids hit the stage to show off their best moves – a definite highlight of the night!
Taste Test Challenge – A delicious way to experience the offerings from some of our talented local food vendors.
Mum Knows Best? – Laughter filled the hall as kids revealed just how much (or sometimes how little!) they know about their mums.
