What denominations are available?
EPIC Dollars are issued in $5, $25 and $100 denominations.
How long are they valid for?
EPIC Dollars are valid for 12 months from the issue date printed on the voucher.
Can I use them online?
No. EPIC Dollars can only be redeemed in-store at participating Gold EPIC Supporter businesses.
Can I receive change?
Businesses are not required to provide change, so we recommend spending the full value of your EPIC Dollars in one transaction.
Can I buy gift cards?
No. EPIC Dollars cannot be used to purchase gift cards or exchanged for cash.
What if my EPIC Dollars are damaged?
Only valid EPIC Dollars displaying the official seal and hologram will be accepted.

How can my business accept EPIC Dollars?
Only Gold EPIC Supporters can accept EPIC Dollars. Becoming a Gold Supporter gives your business the opportunity to participate in the programme and benefit from thousands of dollars being spent locally each year.
How much are EPIC Dollars worth?
EPIC Dollars are redeemed at their full face value. There is no deduction or administration fee.
Where do I drop off redeemed EPIC Dollars?
Redeemed EPIC Dollars should be dropped off to the Te Puke War Memorial Hall during office hours for reimbursement.

What do I need to do before dropping them off?
Please ensure each EPIC Dollar:
- Has your business stamp applied, or your business details clearly written on the back.
- Is within its expiry date.
- Has an untampered hologram and unique identification code.
How do I know if an EPIC Dollar is valid?
A valid EPIC Dollar will:
- Display the official EPIC seal.
- Have an untampered hologram.
- Include a unique identification code.
- Be within the printed expiry date.
- Not already have a redemption stamp from another business.
Can customers use EPIC Dollars to purchase gift cards?
No. EPIC Dollars cannot be accepted as payment for gift cards or exchanged for cash.
What happens if I accidentally accept an expired or invalid EPIC Dollar?
Unfortunately, EPIC Te Puke is unable to reimburse expired, altered or invalid EPIC Dollars. We recommend checking each voucher before accepting it as payment.

Terms & Conditions
Terms for Shoppers
1.0 Your purchase of the EPIC Dollars constitutes your acceptance of these Terms.
1.1 These Terms may be amended from time to time by uploading revised Terms to this site.
1.2 EPIC Dollars have an Expiry Date. Unused dollars as at the Expiry Date do not need to be honoured by the listed businesses.
1.3 We have no liability for any goods or services purchased. Any disputes must be resolved with the listed business from which you purchased the goods or services.
1.4 EPIC Dollars remain the property of Epic Te Puke. EPIC Dollars must not be copied or reproduced under any circumstances.
1.5 Change on EPIC Dollars is not required by the business owner.
1.6 EPIC Dollars cannot be used for the purchase of gift cards or exchanged for cash.
1.7 Refunds can only be processed for a replacement EPIC Dollar. 2 weeks allowance is required for this process.
1.8 Valid only with the seal.
1.9 Not valid with the redemption stamp applied. EPIC Dollars can only be spent once.
Terms for Retailers
2.1 EPIC Te Puke Dollars must be valid for a full payout.
2.2 EPIC Dollars need to be dropped off to our collection point at Te Puke Memorial Hall. The addresse and office hours are as follows:

2.3 Valid EPIC Dollars have an untampered hologram foil with a unique code.
2.4 Valid EPIC Dollars must have your business redemption stamp or business details clearly written down on the back.
2.5 Valid EPIC Dollars must be within the expiry date, which is 12 months from the issue date.
2.6 EPIC Te Puke Dollars cannot be spent on gift cards or exchanged for cash.
2.7 By accepting EPIC Dollars, you accept the terms and conditions outlined here.
