EPIC Te Puke welcomed another fantastic turnout to our May EPIC Connect, hosted in the Te Puke Memorial Hall Boardroom by local businesses Gernius and Safe Move.
Designed to encourage collaboration, networking and the sharing of ideas, EPIC Connect continues to provide a relaxed and welcoming space where local businesses, organisations and community members can build meaningful relationships and discover new opportunities to work together.
The evening’s hosts, Lietta from Gernius and Cherie from Safe Move, shared the stories behind their businesses, giving attendees an insight into the services they provide and the journeys that led them to where they are today. They also added a fun interactive element to the evening by hosting a mini quiz, with prizes generously donated by both businesses.
EPIC Events Coordinator Sally Benning also provided an update on preparations for the upcoming Te Puke Festival of Cultures, sharing exciting plans for the community event and encouraging local support and involvement.
Congratulations to Todd Jenkins, who took home the evening’s business card draw prize, kindly supplied by Gernius and Safe Move.
One of the strengths of EPIC Connect is its informal format. Rather than traditional networking, attendees are encouraged to connect naturally, share ideas, make introductions and learn more about the people and organisations helping shape our community. Whether you’re new to Te Puke or have been part of the community for years, everyone is welcome.
A huge thank you to Gernius and Safe Move for their warm hospitality and for creating such an engaging and enjoyable evening for everyone who attended.
We look forward to welcoming both familiar and new faces to future EPIC Connect events as we continue bringing Te Puke’s business and community networks together, one conversation at a time.
