Join the Ray White Te Puke Halloween Treat Trail!
Friday 30 October 2026 | 3PM–5PM
Downtown Te Puke
The Halloween Treat Trail is back for 2026 and this year is proudly sponsored by Ray White Te Puke!
Families will be heading downtown dressed in their Halloween best to follow the Treat Trail, visit participating businesses and community groups, and enjoy an afternoon of trick-or-treating and Halloween fun.
We’d love your business, organisation or community group to get involved and help us create a fun, festive afternoon for Te Puke!
2026 Theme: HALLOWEEN
Think pumpkins, ghosts, witches, cobwebs, monsters, heros, fairies, if you can dream it – you can be it!
Get into the spirit by decorating your business, dressing up your team and helping bring Halloween to Downtown Te Puke.
Best Dressed Halloween Business Contest
We’ll be on the lookout for the Best Decorated Halloween Business!
Decorate your shopfront, dress up your team and get creative. Start planning early and don’t be afraid to go all out!
Participating businesses will receive an official Halloween Treat Trail poster to display prominently in their window so families know where to stop.
Businesses located outside the main Treat Trail area are also welcome to participate by setting up a station along the trail.
Trick or Treat Ideas
Participating businesses are asked to provide a treat or activity for children visiting during the event.
- Lollies or treats – one item per child is plenty. All food treats must be individually wrapped. No unwrapped or homemade food may be distributed. EPIC will provide an initial supply of lollies.
- Non-food treats – stickers, balloons, temporary tattoos, toothbrushes, small promotional items or child-friendly giveaways are great alternatives.
- Offer a trick! Set up a simple Halloween game, challenge or activity outside your business. Get creative – anything interactive adds to the fun!
- Consider organising some extra helpers so your team can manage the crowds while still operating your business.
- Please help us keep Te Puke tidy by sweeping up any litter or lolly wrappers from around your business following the event.
Community Groups & Entertainers
We’d love to have community groups and entertainers join the fun and help bring the Treat Trail to life.
- Please be set up and ready for the 3PM start.
- Keep costumes, activities and entertainment fun and family-friendly. There will be lots of young children attending, so please avoid anything overly frightening.
- EPIC event helpers in high-vis vests will be circulating throughout the event if you need assistance.
- Please help with a quick litter sweep around your area at the end of the event.
Get Involved
Whether you’re handing out treats, dressing up your team, decorating your shopfront, running a game or entertaining families along the trail, we’d love to have you involved.
Join us for a frightfully fun afternoon and help make the 2026 Ray White Te Puke Halloween Treat Trail one to remember!
